If you are looking for a midweek boost, I would highly encourage you to check out our mid-week prayer time. We meet at 6:30 on Wednesday nights and dig into the Word and pray in small groups. It has been a powerful time for all. There is a children’s time for all kids 5th grade and under. -PR

“Radical Hope” is the theme, and it will be held nightly Sun-Wed, March 13-16 at 6:30-7:45 PM at Lake Placid Baptist Church.

Highlights will include:

• Special Guest, Pastor Jason Treadaway from Danbury, TX
• Live music each night by the LPBC Praise Band
• Activities for kids 10 and under each evening in the LPBC Gym, including the bounce house!
• Coffee, tea and refreshments each evening before and after

Special theme each night:

• Note: Everyone is invited every night
• Sunday: Youth Night
• Monday: Ice Cream Night (ice cream after Spring Fever)
• Tuesday: Sports Night (wear something to support your favorite team; those supporting their team will be first-in-line for frozen ice pops after Spring Fever)
• Wednesday: Pizza-at-6:00 PM Night (everyone is invited for a slice or two of pizza at 6:00 PM, before Spring Fever begins that night)

You are invited for a Men’s Breakfast on Friday, February 25 at 6:30-7:30 AM at LPBC. A hearty breakfast will be served, along with a short 15-minute Men’s Bible Study led by Pastor Derek. After that, we’ll have a few minutes to figure out how to put the principles from the Bible into practice in real-life circumstances.

Also, we’ll be planning some future work projects, outdoor outings, and other events to serve our community and have fun too.

All men are invited. Feel free to grab some of your buddies and make them come with you.

• Watch the DVD lessons taught by Dr. Karl Coke
• Study key Old Testament and New Testament passages, gaining a greater understanding of the teaching of the entire Bible on the subject being taught
• Be introduced to key Hebrew words and phrases that illuminate the Scriptures
• Discuss with the Bible study group each week’s lesson
• Take notes (if you would like) on the provided handout
• Understand how to apply the principles from the lesson into your daily life

These lessons will strengthen your faith, and truly will change your life.

Come to one lesson or attend them all. This Bible study is open to everyone. No previous Bible study experience or knowledge of Hebrew required!

The first few lessons are entitled “Salvation: Through His Only Begotten Son.”
